Vivax-Metrotech Transmitter Clamps are available in multiple sizes and lengths, making them easy to attach to lines with 2" (50mm), 4" (100mm), 5" (125mm), 9" (230mm) or a Flexible 18" (450mm) diameters. Signal Clamps provide a precise way to apply a locating signal. They are generally used when it is not possible or convenient to access the conductor to make a direct connection but there is sufficient room to place the clamp around the cable or pipe, or when it is not safe to make a direct connection because the target cable is carrying electricity.
